Zahra & Nursery Rhymes

Buku pertama yang Ummi beli untuk Zahra adalah buku First Songs – a book that contains children nursery rhymes. As someone who was brought up in English school background (che.. wah… - Walid sokmo cakap ‘Sekolah Missionary’.. heheh), one of the topic taught when I was in primary school was singing Nursery Rhymes – nyanyi ramai-ramai mcm choir or public speaking..
Zahra loves her First Songs very much. Each time nak menyusu, Ummi kena nyanyi-nyanyi and yang tak tahan tu adalah kena ulang-ulang-ulang dan ulang nyanyi. Kalau tak ulang, nanti nangis-nangis la pulak..
When we went to ToyRus the other day, Ummi again bought for Zahra nursery rhymes’ book and toys, which she indeed likes it. Dan sebab rasa penat sangat nak kena nyanyi-nyanyi manually, Ummi pun beli la DVD Nursery rhymes.. yg akhirnya kena la dipasang like 24-7.. heheh..
Walid yang buta lagu ni pun dah mula hafal some of the songs.. hehehehhe..
Antara song yg Ummi suka – which I think the lyrics resembling Zahra:

Sekali Zahra minum terus habis..

2nd pregnancy, Breastfeeding and Ummi Blues
|
|
Bercerita mengenai 2nd pregnancy, Ummi masih belum membuat sebarang check-up. Basically, the only evident telling me that I’m pregnant is the UPT strip, not prove by any Medical Officer.. yet.
Walid promised to bring us (ummi for the check up and Zahra for 18 months vaccination) by this weekend. Apa pun, kita tunggu apa kata Doktor.
I’m still BFing Zahra. In fact, I’m still pumping for her daily supply in the Taska. However, I manage to get maximum 5oz per day. Tak banyak dah dapat but ok la, ada daripada tiada. I read in the net that BFing during pregnancy can still be proceed with condition that the mother eat wells and still gaining weight. Hehehe.. seronok pulak baca statement tu, seperti ‘mendapat lesen untuk makan’.. ekekek..
Dan semenjak preggy ini, I’m quite sensitive. Bukan la sensitif tak kena tempat cam sikit-sikit nak nangis tu.. but selalu rasa sayu especially when looking at Zahra face. Erm, dah besar dah dia, dah nk jadi kakak dah.. Rasa macam tak puas lagi nak manja-manja dengan Zahra.. Apa pun, she will always be my baby!!!
And to assist me with my journey on BFing while pregnant and having new member in the family, I have bought some books from the net:

SHE has landed

Who she?
My ‘madu’.
Hah?
Yup.. Zahra new stepmother.. Heheh..
Well, she’s the new bicycle, been adored by Walid ever since..
Interesting facts about the bike:
1. Walid actually learnt (step by step) on how to buy things in Ebay, how to bid and how to pay from this-master-of-buying-things-online-especially-in-Ebay, that is ME (hehehheheheh)..
2. Walid complaint that he’s been outbid, outbid and outbid until he finally has to click the Buy It Now button in order to get the items (Ummi remark: Yeke? Macam tak percaya jer.. ramai beno nk kan barang tu.. ish ???)
3. All parts that been bought has been addressed to our home which Walid has to like going to and fro to the post office to claim the arrived items. Ummi was at home on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and yet when the item arrived on Tuesday, he still have to claim it at the post office due to Ummi heard none door bell.
4. The last parts of the Bike arrived on last Thursday, which Walid has to claim it at the Custom Office and have to pay RM100 for the tax.
5. This is Walid second bike. His first bike which cost RM1.5k has been sold to one of his buddy. Walid said that he learnt this from Ummi (due to my hobby yg suka sangat la tukar-tukar breastpump).
6. This bike is custom-made by Walid and cost like RM4k.
So, due to the obstacles to own the bike, Walid officially announced that SHE has becomes his second wife. Ummi tak kisah pun, Ummi tak jeles. In fact, this type of hobby is far more better than hobi memancing. Imagine if he has to leave me and Zahra going to precious lubuk menangkap ikan.. ewww..

Trip to ToyR’us and Zahra throwing tantrum

Hari Isnin we all still cuti. The fact is Ummi still cuti sampai Rabu. Taska will be reopen on Thursday, so Ummi have to take extra leave to jaga Zahra at home.
Since both Ummi and Walid cuti, so we decided nk bawak Zahra g jalan-jalan, and for the first time ever, Zahra menjejakkan kaki ke MidValley (merangkumi Ummi menjejakkan kaki pertama kali ke Midvalley selepas berkahwin dan having Zahra, heheh)..
We went to ToyR’us, beli mainan and after that heading to Domino’s for lunch.
And the episode kat Domino’s are those yang tak tergambar.. elok2 time nak makan, orang kecik sorang ni mengamuk tak tentu hala.. adoila.. abis dibaling, dipukul, ditendangnya Ummi ini..
Last-last Walid pujuk-pujuk, terus la tertido..
Erm.. Zahrala Zahra..
Lepas ngamuk, dia pon tido.. we all pun continue makan dengan hati senang.. hahah..

Cerita Hari Raya
|

Tahun ini adalah tahun kedua kami beraya bertiga. Bagi Ummi raya sama je seperti tahun-tahun sebelum nya, sama seperti zaman bujang, berdua dan bertiga. Heheh.. Yelah, preparation raya tu sama..
Baju raya dah dibeli sebelum musim raya lagi, and a day before raya masak lemang, dan malam raya bertungkus prepare lauk pauk, on d day raya pulak jalan gi umah nenek, then yg lain just lepak makan-makan depan tv.

Hadiah Bulan Ramadhan..

I’m not feeling very well these few days. Lately, I have these symptoms:
1) Headache – on and off. More on blood pressure rasanya. Sakit kepala secara tiba-tiba bile bangun setelah lama duduk.
2) Swollen in my breast - can really felt the lump and sangat sakit bile ditekan-tekan.. menjadikan aktiviti penyusuan suatu aktiviti yang sangatlah tidak selesa. However, selepas diurut-urut dan dituam dengan kain panas, bengkak kelihatan sedikit surut, tetapi still there.
3) Amount susu yang diperah semakin berkurangan. First week of Ramadhan, I managed to get like 10 oz per day. But now, dh dekat end of Ramadhan my total milk collection becoming 3-5 oz per day.. aduuhh la haiii…
4) Puasa dah masuk minggu ketiga, tetapi every time break fasting, air jugak yang Ummi cari dulu.. even waktu Asar tu dah dahaga sangat-sangat-sangat…
My period for the past three monts was regular. Akan datang every 30 days. However, this month dah lewat a week. I did the self check UPT and the result came out.. like the picture below..
Well, ikut perkiraan, by 26 May 2009, we all are going to have a new member in d family..
Syukur, Alhamdullillah.. Allah swt makbulkan doa Ummi & Walid nak bagi adik pada Zahra..

Handfree Pumping
|

Untuk mengepam, double pumping khususnya, sebenarnya tidak la sesusah @ sepayah mana.
Tidak perlu untuk mempunyai Medela Freestyle untuk tujuan itu (but my case, having owned FS is compulsary.. it is one of my hobby.. ekekkek)..
What one can do is..
1) Either buying the pumpin pal..
or
2) bustier bra
or
3) If ur creative enough, bole buat sendiri by using simply a rubber band..
Erm, mudah kan..
